I suppose Scala Radio could fall into the “dog” category—but it should be a prestige project for Bauer, and they’ve shifted some of its costs away to other networks, particularly Simon Mayo...
Good to hear that Boom Radio is, er, booming, but I think we need a fifth category for Talk/Times Radio. Even if they never turn a profit, they're still providing marketing and content for their owner's newspaper (and other media) assets. As long as they're Vanity Collateral they'll stay on air, I expect.
Wot about BBC local radio Matt..? Thoughts, while it's still 'local' ?
Projections?

Aren't Boom's total hours 5.8 million?
